Melissa Lynn Spence, a native New Yorker born in 1982, cherishes the values of faith, family, and patriotism. Her childhood summers she went to visit her mother living in Florida, which offered her a glimpse into the serene country life, shaping her vision of the quintessential American dream.
From a young age, Melissa demonstrated leadership at a young age, serving as a color guard in third grade and class president in sixth at P.S. 100 in Queens. Her father, a dedicated UPS worker, took a loan out to invest in her education and enrolling her in a Catholic school to ensure she received quality learning away from the troubled local junior high.
By 19, Melissa's entrepreneurial spirit shone as she managed multiple venues for a catering company with businesses to run in Queens, Manhattan and Brooklyn. Her passion for business and community service led her to assist enterprises across California, Italy, and Florida.
At 21, Melissa was captivated by the vibrant life in Las Vegas, a city she vowed to call home. As a resident for nearly seven years, she has been an active community member, engaging in broadcasting, hosting her own show, and interviewing local sports teams.
Despite facing personal health challenges, including cancer and gastroparesis, Melissa emerged resilient and more committed than ever to serve her community.
Recognizing the lack of Republican representation for State Assembly District 15, she decided to step up and run for office. Melissa's campaign is driven by a desire to restore the American dream, ensuring educational freedom, Stop the Executive order President Biden put in place #14067 to great the digital dollar. (This will allow the government to dictate when you can spend your own money and when you can't) Prioritizing the needs of American citizens, is priority.
She stands firm against policies that undermine personal liberties and is dedicated to being a voice for the people, advocating for change that truly reflects the values of her constituents.
